Liam Monaghan (Liamo), is a designer and music producer from New York City. In 2019, he graduated with a BA in Media Production from Temple University, concentrating in audio engineering. Currently he is gaining his Masters in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute. 

In the few years after his undergraduate degree, he began his work in the music and live events industries. Releasing his own electronic music, DJ'ing, and working with companies building installations for events like the US Open, Tribeca Film Festival and Veuve Cliquot Polo Classic.

Through his professional experience, he has come to realize his love of nightlife and event production is not only an obsession with music, but a love of process and creation. He is enamored with the idea that you can shape feelings and social connection through design, whether that’s designing with sound or three dimensional forms. His plan as a designer is to create engaging furniture, objects and spaces where art, music, and culture can thrive
